General Responsibilities

Uphold Core Values of the Organization Coordinates with YES Personnel Efficiently Completes Weekly Projections Completes Proper Safety Requirements and Paperwork in a Timely Manner Treats Tools with Respect Maintain Organization/Weekly Plan Meet, Coordinate with, and Maintain Customer Relations Attend Company/Customer Meetings Work with Others to Accomplish the Mission of the Organization Accountability for your Words and Actions Organized with Emails and Phone Calls Proficiency will be needed in the Two Email Accounts (YES and All Nations); Specific Email Tracking is Critical and Needs to be Kept in an Organized Manner with a Timely Response; At Times a Specific Response may Need Approval Prior to Sending

 

Specific Responsibilities

·         Responsible for Leading Communications with Apprentices and Following Direction from Foreman Including Tell Back Procedure

·         Takes Accountability for Counseling and Correcting Employees Acting as a Witness and Raising the Flag when Something isn’t Right

·         Ensure Paperwork is Completed in its Entirety- i.e. Safety, Work Orders, JHA, JSA, Hot Work Permits, etc.

·         Procures all Tools/Materials/Equipment needed for Completion of Work

·         Lays out and organizes Assigned tasks to Apprentices and other Journeyman

·         Performs Daily Huddles

·         Compile Information Needed for Permits and Wiring Certificates

·         Completes Apprentice Evaluations/Experience Reports

·         Communicates Proactively with Authority Having Jurisdiction

·         Incorporate Apprentices into Larger Roles

·         Uses Electrical Formulas to Figure out Pipe Fill, Device and Panel Size and Disconnect

·         Customer Relations

·         Estimating Resources Needed to Complete Required Tasks

·         Installs Raceways, Pulls Wire, and Mounts Equipment

·         Performs Duties as Assigned by Lead Personnel

·         Ability to Follow Direction with a Written Plan or Direction From the  Supervisor or Customer to Document and Follow-Up Direction or Approval

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

·         ND Journeyman License

·         High school diploma or equivalent
